The website
If you join the waitlist we keep your email address and the language of the page, only to tell you when RouterSync is available and, rarely, to announce RouterSync Pro.
The list is stored with Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), which sends our emails under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
You can unsubscribe from any email, or write to info@bytelegion.site to have your address deleted. We don't sell or share it.
This site uses no cookies. It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics (pages viewed, the site that sent you here, country and type of device), which recognizes a visitor only by an anonymous code that changes every day.
The app
RouterSync has no account and no analytics, and it doesn't send data to us. It talks to your router on your local network; to tell whether a hotel blocks the internet it makes the same request to Apple (captive.apple.com) that every iPhone makes when it joins a Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi passwords and the router's admin password are stored in the keychain of your device. The location permission is used only to read the name of the Wi-Fi you're on.
If you turn on sync, your routers and saved networks go to your own iCloud (iPhone and Mac, passwords in iCloud Keychain, encrypted so that only your devices can read them) or to a hidden RouterSync folder in your own Google Drive (Android and Windows; passwords only if you choose to). We have no access to either.
Buying Pro
On Mac, RouterSync Pro is sold through Stripe, which handles the payment: we never see your card. We receive your email address, your country and the order details, and we use the email only to send you the license key.
The license key contains your email address and order number. The app checks it on your Mac, without contacting us. The email with the key is sent through Resend; we keep order records as long as tax law requires.
On iPhone and in the Mac App Store version, Pro is bought through the App Store: Apple handles the payment and we receive no personal data. On Android it's bought through Google Play, with the same result.
